MY PERSONAL ART JOURNEY

I have always enjoyed art and over the years I have dabbled in art. Â I have used charcoal, pastels and watercolours as my primary media but just over a year ago I began to enjoy the colours and textured effect of acrylic paint.
EXHIBITION POSTPONED

The art exhibition planned by Uivo at Fortaleza, Praia da Luz, has unfortunately had to be postponed due to the regulations  imposed by the Portuguese government.

I believe that we are all artists - art is an expression of oneself. Sometimes art is chaotic and disorganised and sometimes it is organised, precise and tidy. Sometimes with limited colours, pale and subdued or bright and bold - it reflects the intuition of the mind at the time. However, finding that release and freedom to create is often stifled due to our education and lifestyles. I am creating a course for both aspiring, beginners and intermediate artists to help you find your freedom and find your inner artist.

This is a day to remember, lockdown and school closures in Portugal is changing our lives. Â Art takes me away and I find it relaxing, almost therapeutic...a little like meditation.
